Episode 8 - Fall Back in Love With Real Estate
Can we be real for a second?
Running a real estate business can feel like a full-on relationship. Some days, you’re totally in love—closing deals, crushing goals, feeling unstoppable. And other days, you’re wondering, “What did I even sign up for?”
Trust me, I’ve been there.
A little while ago, I hit a point where I felt totally disconnected from my business. I was stuck in the grind, buried in tasks I didn’t love, and starting to lose sight of why I started this whole thing in the first place. It was like being in a relationship where all the romance had disappeared. 😬
So, I decided to try something different. I took myself—and my business—on a date.
Yes, you read that right: a CEO date. I set aside 90 minutes to really look at my business, figure out what I loved about it, and get clear on what needed to change. And let me tell you—it was a total game-changer.
Now, I want to help you do the same.
Let’s Reignite the Spark
This week on the podcast, I’m walking you through the exact process I used to fall back in love with my real estate business. It’s a simple, judgment-free 90-minute “business audit” that will help you:
✨ Reconnect with what you love most about your business.
✨ Stop wasting time on the things that drain you.
✨ Make space for joy, success, and the work that actually lights you up.
This is not about adding more to your plate or getting stuck in over-planning mode. It’s about getting real with yourself, clearing out the clutter, and focusing on what makes you happy.
How It Works
Here’s a sneak peek at the steps:
1️⃣ Set the mood. Block off 60–90 minutes, grab your favorite drink, and sit down with your calendar and to-do list. Make it fun!
2️⃣ Brain dump EVERYTHING. Tasks, clients, vendors, admin work—if it’s part of your business, write it down.
3️⃣ Rate what you love (and don’t love). Rank each item from 1–10.
7+? That’s your “zone of enjoyment”—the work you love most.
Below 5? That’s what we need to delegate, streamline, or maybe just stop doing altogether.
4️⃣ Make a plan. Focus on spending more time in your enjoyment zone and clearing out the stuff that’s dragging you down.
5️⃣ Set boundaries to protect your joy. This part is key! Once you know what works for you, stick with it. Say no when you need to and stop feeling guilty about it.
Why This Matters
Here’s the deal: you deserve a business that makes you feel good—not one that burns you out. Real estate is one of the most flexible careers out there, which means there’s a way to build a business you actually love.
If you’re ready to ditch the grind and get back to what makes this work fulfilling, you need to listen to this week’s podcast episode.
